Are Shopsmiths for the affluent?
What can you find in an affluent person’s home that you wouldn’t find in the median American household?

For an interesting adjunct to this post you might like the thread "Putting things in a Shopsmith Context" that I put in the Woodworking Tool Review Forum for reasons that reading it will explain fully.

Shopsmiths are for the affluent? Now that's a new one. Usually people (not on this forum) say Shopsmiths are like effluent.

I guess I am stupid and missing something. Why is the OP's link not spam?

Dave's not advertising or selling anything with that link. And Dave's a longtime member/contributor. Not a spammer. Not spam.

Only 2 shopsmiths, that is just basic, affluent people need more then I have so that would be say 6 or 7 of them.............

Re: Are Shopsmiths for the affluent?
I'm far from affluent. I don't have anything on their lists except One Shopsmith and a house full of custom furniture and woodwork. But, those two things came from my hard work and a few dollars for materials.
My pickup is 17 years old and my car is 29 years old. Nothing there to impress the affluent folks.
