Woke up this AM to see this. Daffodils are already standing tall, and other flowers have sprouted, now this.
Hope that bright sun gets it's job done quickly.

Kind of like spring in northern Utah except that kind of thing happens here in May and June.

No Springtime here yet. We had a snowstorm come through here a week ago, and the temp has been below freezing since then so we aren't losing any of the snow yet.

We've been running in the 70's and then highs in the 50's. Had a tenth of an inch of rain yesterday, lots of tree blooms and buds. We can have a freeze yet before Easter. Over all, been nice!

Weird weather. I am in Boise today and there is no snow on the ground at all. Cold but no snow.

In Lubbock, when the fruit trees blossom, one can usually expect 1 more hard freeze. I tell folks not to plant anything outdoors until the mesquites bud. Rarely do they miss. Once or twice in a century.
Folks ask what our second crop behind cotton is and I tell them I'm not certain, but I suspect orange traffic cones. They are everywhere, pop-up overnight, in all seasons.

Maple sugar is running here , as long as we don't have a thunder storm or the trees don't start to bud it could be a good season for them,,,they say when the trees start to bud the sap gets sour and after the first thunder storm the sap isn't any good,, had a snow squall last night and another expected tonight , the ground is too warm to accumulate . the lilac trees have little buds so that usually means about 4 weeks till we are out danger of frost.
