I turned a handle for my new roughing gouge today using a leftover piece of zebrawood. I’m starting to like the chisels Doug Thompson is putting out.

Re: New Lathe Chisel
Nice looking handle. Doug does have some fine tools. How far into the handle is the tool?

2 1/4” which is ok but I think it would have been better with 3””. I think they are made more for his aluminum handle system.
