Looking for part number

Post by reible »

I'd like to know the part number of the front rail without the rule change for an extension/floating table. I need one and was wondering if shopsmith still has some in stock but it would be easier to check with a part number.

Did we not determine that was what was being 'cleared' a couple of weeks ago?

Those were front rails for the main table. I got two of them, one for my router table (jointech) and another for one of my main tables that I use with the jointech system. I'd also like to change one of my extension/floating tables to the old non-rule versions. I guess I could have ordered a third to cut up but didn't.

It is part number 518489 but when entered into the search by part number it comes up with the following when clicked on.

522367 FRONT RAIL ASM EXT-M ... $37.23

As you may already know part number 522367 is the one with the ruler magnet strip. It looks like they may have discontinued the original one. :( A call might get you one if they have any left.

OK well that answers that. I guess I should have ordered a third to cut up.

If anyone with the old front rail decides to upgrade to the scales keep me in mind I can help lower your cost and excess parts inventory by taking one of the old front rails for an extension/floating table.

It may be a month or so before I know for sure but I think I have the style short front rail that you are needing. I'll try to remember to check when I do unpack the pods.

Just so you have an idea of the wait, we are paining the entire house, changing out appliances and tiling all the floors BEFORE we call for the pods. I also have to paint the shop and rustoleum coat the floor.
