My favorite Model 10 pic
This is my favorite Model 10 picture I have taken. It was almost two years ago.
I owned 5 Model 10's restored at the same time. 2 10E's and 3 10ER's. The front one is the oldest one I have restored to date and the back one the first one I restored. I still have both of them. The middle three have been sold for others to get enjoyment from them in their woodworking endeavors. The file name is their serial numbers, front to back.

Lovely picture, and a fine stable of 10's.
The picture brings to mind on of those "infinity" mirrors.

Curious... what paint are you using in your restorations.

OK, now I'm upset!
(Or, just jealous.)
NICE looking set!
Next, you need to get
some sawdust on your
children. If they look
like you, you're a lucky
man. (Your better half
may not agree!)

10 ER, stripped down.
Basic 10ER, Parts machine. Will be a semi-dedicated drill-press machine.
10 ER, a "survivor" of the trailer fire, in the back yard, needing restoration. Has a Mk5 headrest. Finally, stripped down.
Numerous parts, for Model 10 stuff. Except for lower saw guard, A and B adapters, I've got it.
Looking for one more, or some 9 inch extension table raisers.

Re: My favorite Model 10 pic
Everett asked..
Steve,
My wife has actually been supportive of my hobby of restoring old Shopsmith's. She did make me promise this week when I picked up the Model 10E S/N 1077 not to buy anymore until I restore some of the 5 Model 10's I have waiting and sell them. Add to those 5 the 3 Shopsmiths I own and keep (10E, 10ER & Mark 7) and that's a lot of Shopsmiths. As I said she is supportive and understands I could spend a lot more money on different hobbies.
I have been using Rust-Oleum Charcoal Gray with a finish coat of Matte Clear to dull down the gloss. Unfortunately I do not have a paint booth as my garage is also my shop space. That's why I use "rattle cans" but they can produce a good finish when applied with care.Curious... what paint are you using in your restorations.
