something off the wall

Post by Hobbyman2 »

Was reading a article about possible shut down and fail safes in atomic energy plants and how safety can go wrong really fast .
Then in the article there was a comment ,,,,Older Diesels don’t need any electronics to run, so as long as they can get started, they’ll work.

Reminded me of the older generation , if we can get started , we still work. :)

So true. The RPMs decrease and, the duty cycles get shorter, though.

Lol. True, but fight it as long as you can. I just finished assembling a pergola that the instruction say you need 4 assistants. Right. I was alone. Done. I'm only 59.6 years young! (And I ache!)

I'd be aching just reading the specs. Wait another 20 years Chris. I'm sure that I coulda done it 20 years ago, too. Well, maybe. I can't remember that far back.
