Paint on the 1954 Greenie Bench Tubes

I had only seen Greenie Bench Tubes that were void of paint and coated with various levels of rust.

In the process of restoring the first three Mark 5 manuals I noticed that Magna stated they were coated with Clear Lacquer for metal originally.

Somehow I had never seen that anywhere that I recall.

I didn't 'remember' it since I joined the forum two years later in July 2014. There's a lot of meat in these forums. You just have to hunt for it.
