Bandsaw running noisy with new 5/8" blade

I bought an Olson 5/8” bandsaw blade at my local Woodcraft a few years back, when I needed one in a hurry. It sounded just about like yours when I first installed it.

I found the weld, which had a slight bow to it, and straightened it as well as I could. Just finger pressure, I believe, but I’m not above a few hammer taps through a block of wood if needed. Then I sanded it to a nice smooth finish with fine sandpaper.

That pretty much cured the thumping noise, and the blade is still serving me well.
