This is indeed sad news. I do hope for a speedy and complete recovery from whatever.

He wrote me in early June after my visit in May
“I am off work with severe back problems. I go see a surgeon tomorrow. He wants me off my feet until I see him and possibly longer. I’m also on pain meds and muscle relaxer that make me groggy and somewhat confused.“
He was going to do some follow up photos of the plant area showing more of their recycling of material such as the aluminum cuttings from final machining etc. whet he got back.
He has not gotten back and has additional health issues that out of privacy and courtesy I would not reveal. He had been working through pain a long time and it got to be too much.
He could not have been nicer or more kind to me when I was there in May taking pictures of the plant and production equipment for my book. To think he did all of that in pain is remarkable. Jim is in nearly every photo I took.
He has not returned to work since. I am sure that has been a major challenge for them to work around these last 3 months.
I appreciate your prayers for him. Prayers change circumstances and he needs that big time.
