Mark V 500 stopped running

Post by Cdewitt103 »

I was turning a rough log that was fairly Out of balance. To alleviate the issue I used my sawzall while the piece was in the faceplate. After cutting, the machine will not start. I checked the connections on the swwitch and they are fine. Any ideas how to get it back up???

Was the machine off when you did this? That seems very unusual to me but I am not a turner, so...

How did you "check the connections on the switch"? Are you sure the circuit breaker did not trip?

I checked the main switch for continuity and found it bad. So I ordered a new switch. The vibrations must have broken something internally. It needed to be replaced anyway!!!
