Not a good night at all. Heavy wet snow + very windy = big tree fell, hit backs of both the van and Córdoba. Spent 2-1/2 hours carefully cutting away branches and trunk pieces so no additional damage would happen. No glass broken so that was good would have hated having to deal with that. Anyway all cut away but can't really examine damage, leave that for daylight.

Snowing when the temps are too warm can be very bad and cause damage. All you can do is clean up when the weather allows you the chance. Sorry to hear about this.

Hopefully a branch hit the ground first and took the brunt of the force. That left the branches to 'brush' the cars. Hope that is all that happened.
Yes we know about heavy wet snow down here. Often followed by freezing rain. That also causes trees to fall.
Spitting snow currently here and we do not like that at all!
"Good" morning!!!

You guys who have the warmer temps in winter get hit a lot more by ice and wet snow than we do up here in the north where it stays cold. Here, snow is light and fluffy and is nice. It does no damage. But, we stay below 32 degrees almost every day during winter and that makes the snow no risk.
We do have a short time in the Fall and again in the Spring as seasons change where wet snow and ice can be a problem.
Summer here is far more destructive than Winter.
