Telescoping leg top end with notch

Post by shopsmithpaul »

I am looking for the part number for the top end of the telescoping leg 555627 that clamps to the table edge. I already have several legs and thought it might be cheaper if I could just buy the top part with the notch and knob. I called customer service and got a new hire that was unable to locate it for me so I thought I would ask here. Thanks Paul

Mike, Thanks for the part number. Hope you made it through the quake ok. My nephew from Eagle River got stuck in Anchorage and couldn't get home for a day or two.

The part number 515774 that Mike gave you is just for the clamp ($16.88). You will also need the knob P/N 515859 ($3.95) and a 1/4"-20 x 1/4" set screw you can get locally (SS P/N 515587 also $3.95). If you wish to buy the knob locally it is a plastic knob with a 1/4"-20 x 3/4" threaded stud or use a 3/4" long set screw. I like the knob so I don't have to find the 1/8" Allen Wrench to attach it.
