Flag stop for Jessem router table fence??

Post by reible »

Or should they be called a miter track stop or fence stop or??

Well which ever way, I have the Jessem Mast-R-Fence II (04010) and would like to find a stop or two to fit the top t-track. I've got a feeling this might be one of those times where it is so wonderful that everyone has a slightly different t-track and get parts to fit is a challenge.

I'd prefer a flag type stop that can be flipped out of the way when not needed. The one Jessem sells seems to be a fixed type stop, no listing for a flag type version.

Anyone have one of these and a stop to try out to see if it fits? Other wise I guess I can go get a few and see what happens. The fence is about 3-3/4" tall so the leg has to be long to work on thinner stock or allow an attachment to extend it.

I have the Jessem stop for mine. It’s fixed, and it’s about as rigid as a chunk of granite.

Yea and cost as much as gold, well almost, $35 as I recall and yes I have one too but would like a flip-up one for some applications.

I picked up a flag stop from Rockler but it will not fit the fence. For one thing it has a 5/16" fastener and the fence can not use anything but 1/4". I wanted one of those stops anyway for some Rockler stuff I have so not a waste but no closer to finding a stop that will work.

Is there a reason the 5/6" T bolt can not be replaced with a 1/4" T bolt and knob?

Here is one that might work...

Here is another link with tons of flip stops...
