Has to be some kind of marketing gimmick.
The entire letter is suspect. They do not specify the collaboration. And how does an auto retailer tie in to the forum.

Yes, it came to me as hotmail.
I created what you see here and promptly deleted it.
Why not to Shopsmith rather than me...good question. Maybe because they only wanted to pay $65.
