If you are like me it always seemed odd that the connectors used to put track together needed to be aligned to get a straight edge. I went so far as to buy a tool for that purpose. It is not a BIG deal but as fancy and expensive as the parts are it seems a bother.
TSO Products now has a GRC-12 Self Aligning Connector for Guide Rails. My pair just arrived and so far as I can tell at this point this is what I wish I had all along. Not cheap but they do what they say and make life just a little easier.

They should also work for MAKITA & TRITON tracks if that is what you have.
Just got them yesterday and they are brand new so if in later use I find some issues I will let you know.
I own a few of their items like the a guide rail square and some parf dogs and have liked the items so that is why I went with these when they first announced them, trusted that they would be decent.
