Jig saw

Post by JeffL »

Long story short I broke the table mount on my jig saw. The table is fine I just need th piece that bolts onto it and allows it to swivel. Been watching Ebay but no luck. Anyone have one they would be willing to sell? Thanks.

If you are talking about the Jig Saw not the Scroll Saw and I understand you correctly you are looking for the Trunnion which is part number 502255. Shopsmith still has a few Jig Saw parts but unfortunately I cannot check if that is one of them. The search function is not working right now on their site. Looking on eBay or similar is is a good way to go for parts for discontinued tools. Although the Trunnion is not currently listed for sale there are a couple of tables for sale and the sellers may have additional Jig Saw parts not currently listed. Contacting them may get you the part you need. You may also wish to wait until the search function is working on the Shopsmith site to see if they have it and how much it costs. Prices can get extremely high on eBay for some parts especially out of production items.

The search function is still not working to check if the part is available from Shopsmith. You could try calling them Wednesday to see if they have it.

I have the base and the Shell of the arm - never got around to restoring this. $40 plus shipping for it just to square me back up
