Woodsmith project on my list

Post by reible »

I was watching the Woodsmith TV show the other day and saw this really cool idea for a variable spaced finger joint jig. It is in their free plans(you have to get the weekly tips but still free).

So it is on my list, more then likely a spring or summer project but just wanted others to see it in case you either don't get the PBS show or missed this days show.

Episode 1207 if that helps.

If you can't figure it out let me know and I'll post more information.

That one just ran on our station yesterday. It's pretty clever: you route one member as shown, then flip the jig around and mount the other member on the other side. The only measurement you need is the bit depth. The hardboard faces are sacrificial.
