New 6" Grizzley Jointer

Post by shydragon »

I received my new 6" jointer. I just felt the SS Jointer was too small. I still have it attached to the SS, and will still use it quite a bit.

But, I've been looking at 6" jointer for a while now. Finally saw one at Grizzly for $575. I asked them to put it on EBAY's buy it now, so that I could use MS Cashback at 30%. Not only did they post that one, but they also posted the same model with paint blemishes, brand new, still in crating for $450. After MS CASHBACK, $315. It arrived today and after I have it setup, I'll post photos of the blemishes.

Congrats on the 6" jointer!
Grizzly also uses the Bill Me Later service and you can get items for up to 6 months same as cash.
If you don't pay it in that amount of time the interest is high but I look at that as incentive to focus on paying the item off.
You got one sweet deal.

P.S. check out the guitars and such in their catalog, beautiful stuff.

Well, I don't think I'll have anymore large purchases for shop equipment. The room I have is limited, sharing a two car garage with one car. The new jointer is really big, but at least it is on a wheeled base. What I might consider is getting the 6" Shelix Spiral Cutterhead for G0604 but that is $300 on sale.
