LOL Pizza Hut

Post by GoNavy »

Every body ready for Superbowl Sunday, because my local Pizza Hut sure ain't...lol...I seldom order pizza, but since it's Superbowl Sunday and probably gonna have a few beers I figure why not, small town so selection is limited on delivery, basically Pizza Hut or Domino's I figure PH probably slightly cheaper, go through the whole website order deal for the dinner box with two pies and wings, bread sticks etc...get to the delivery section and a popup jumps up sorry no delivery on day of Superbowl ...WHAT...the biggest pizza ordering day of the year and these idiots decide to sit this one out on the sidelines...lol..in a small town to boot, they can't be that busy...how do these morons stay in business. Closed that window out and ordered from Domino's they got no problems delivering today...probably better pizza anyways. This is one day of the year where living in a small town kinda sucks, way more delivery options in the big city.

Eat Domino's Pizza or move to the big city.

OR

Hot Dogs with mustard and onions along with a lot of chips.

At 20 miles from the nearest Pizza Hut, delivery is not an option. Dominoes is 45 miles away, too. I doubt either one is open on Sunday, either. No biggie. I'll be rearranging my sock drawer when the game airs out here.

Why not make your own pizza at home, we always do that, often we bake them on the grill. If you have a group you can put out the 'fixings' on the counter and everyone can make their own personal pizza. It's easy and fun....well as long as it's not too cold.

I'm afraid the pizza wouldn't even get warm on the grille today. It is -3 with the wind blowing outside. I think I'll eat inside.

We get the frozen cheese pizzas from Costco, and then add our own toppings. :)

For my wife, onion, green pepper, chicken breast with Cattle Boyz BBQ sauce, and pineapple.

Why didn't you call the local store directly instead of the internet? Who knows what that is going to tell you. We have only one option here for delivery, Domino's., even though we are less than 10 miles from Ogden, UT. We always just call the local store. They know what we order and don't have to spend a lot of time on the phone. BTW, we don't order very often. Maybe 5 or 6 times a year.

For Pizza Hut I have two options both about a 15 minute drive, one east and one west. I'm just outside of either ones delivery area. The last time we ordered pizza from them I was surprised to find that the one to the west had moved from their restaurant style location to a near by strip mall carry out only location. Downsizing? Make of that what you will. I live just outside Portland Oregon so there are a lot of choices for pizza or anything else the metro area.

Pizza Hut and Taco Bell are owned by Yum. They also own KFC. Recently, Pizza Hut and Taco Bell have been, in some locations, located together and, are just carry out only. That's the case in our area, too. I imagine this was due to customer counts. Neither store in our area did a big business when they were "sit down" stores. We've never had a KFC but, a neighboring town has one and, seems to be doing a healthy business.
We only patronize locally owned restaurants.
