Raised dog feeder. The legs are pw, the rest is just pine from a big box store. The large board on the top are two boards glued together. The legs are held to the top with dowels. The decoration on the legs was scrolled. The plans were from the Carmichael Workshop.
Jig saw spinner. My sweetie takes a few days every year and devotes all her time to a 1000 piece jig saw puzzle. Recently she saw one of these in a catalog and asked me to make one. The main surface is 3/8 pw. It's covered by felt which is glued to the PW with 3M 77. I cut the edging from cedar (it was a broken cedar chest left by the previous owner of the house we live in). Under the BB I have a 12 x 12 PW riser and attached to that a 12" lazy Susan that came from Rockler. Overall size is 35" x 35".

Great-looking projects! That cedar edging on the spinner sure doesn’t look like the knotty stuff we get around here. Old-growth heartwood, perhaps?

I made a similar bowl holder for my cat's dishes about 8 years ago, but I just threw mine together from scrap wood. Yours looks great and professional. Mine looks so bad in comparison that I would be ashamed to take a picture of it. My cat never complains about the poor workmanship however.
Keep up the good work. It looks great.
We are doing some jigsaw puzzles there the last two weeks. The temperature hasn't been up to zero yet this week, day or night, so I'm not spending a lot of time playing outside.

I made a jigsaw puzzle board for my sister-in-law. Mine was hardboard with oak edging. The edging was mitered, but because one "leg" of each miter was a part of a drawer, it gave me an excuse for the miters not to appear tight. Yours is certainly more nicely crafted.

Both projects look great.
I especially like what you did with the dog food station. I have made some in the past but never thought to dress them up the way you have.
