520 rip fence- broke a part

Post by ChrisNeilan »

When cleaning the shop tonight I dropped the rip fence and snapped off the rear lock lever (the one on top). Been looking for a parts list or part number. Anyone know it? Did a few searches, but no luck.

You don't need no fence, just lay your arm down on the table parallel to the blade and let the stock slide along your arm...lol...sorry, it's late...is it not in the diagram and parts list, should be there just click on the number and it will go to the shopping cart or order from the parts list. You can get to both of these links from the main SS page under "Products" product index, then Mark 7 /Mark V link listed under "Mark 7 / V Maintenance" then find 520 rip fence diagram parts list

Thanks a lot. I looked for those links but must have scrolled past. I thought this would be a more expensive fix. Now i can stop swearing under my breath! :)

Chris Neilan,

Just broke my top front handle also, then bought the replacement. How were you able to put the new handle on the fence? Did instructions come with the part?

Thank you,

John

It was fairly easy as I remember it. I think just punch out the roll pin and install the new piece. Then a simple adjustment for tension.
