Alaska

Post by eggy »

Anyone here from Anchorage or the Valley? I'm looking for a place to buy turning blanks and/or some hard/exotic wood. There used be a place on Arctic Rd., but they're not there anymore.

Eggy,

One source you might check is SS customer service. They still list bowl turning stock in @ 17 lb amounts. Item # 522253. I just received a box with 7 nice sized and nice looking bowl blanks that were recently (but no longer) on sale. Good luck, John McCrossen

Sometimes I miss the Alaska of my younger years, but not so much this time of year.
