Happy Easter

Post by reible »

For our part it was a quiet day on purpose. The one surprise was an Easter Bunny Nest in our back garden box. We have an old fire pit surround with daffodils inside and now baby bunnies. The surround is too tall for them to scale so they are effectively in a play pen.

It looks like three of them. Might set up my game camera tonight to see what goes on when we are not around.

Surprised you got a picture of them. Rabbits can be quite skittish, but then they are pinned in there so they probably froze. Anyway, that is neat. Happy Easter.

Easter Monday was sad. Raccoons found them and well it wasn't pretty. The little guys had no where to run. At least two dead the third I didn't see get killed but I also didn't see it escape.

The raccoons also found a second nest in another garden box that we didn't even know about, no camera on that so I have no idea what happened.

Nature tainted by sin is tough! So sad.

But one day
Isaiah 11:6-9 (ESV)
[6] The wolf shall dwell with the lamb,
and the leopard shall lie down with the young goat,
and the calf and the lion and the fattened calf together;
and a little child shall lead them.
[7] The cow and the bear shall graze;
their young shall lie down together;
and the lion shall eat straw like the ox.
[8] The nursing child shall play over the hole of the cobra,
and the weaned child shall put his hand on the adder’s den.
[9] They shall not hurt or destroy
in all my holy mountain;
for the earth shall be full of the knowledge of the LORD
as the waters cover the sea.
