If I'd do the same as pictured. The angle of the allen wrench wood be at about at the point of half way up the pin. I have pics, that I hope ya can see the angles. Yes I had to take pics with the allen in the front side. But I tried Ed's (Reible) suggestion and with a Mcalister deli straw, forced the set screw head in it crooked. That worked the FIRST time.
SS 500(09/1980), DC3300, jointer, bandsaw, belt sander, Strip Sander, drum sanders,molder, dado, biscuit joiner, universal lathe tool rest, Oneway talon chuck, router bits & chucks and a De Walt 735 planer,a #5,#6, block planes. ALL in a 100 square foot shop.
