Lathe Arbor

Post by eggy »

Does anyone know if the lathe arbor came with the basic Shopsmith package? SS item #505603

I can't remember if I had one or not and if it didn't come with the original package, I probably don't.

Thanks for any info you may have.

It came with mine. I got a promotional package that included a band saw, but I think anything else was just part of the basic package.

I do not believe that it is part of the "standard accessories" that come with the Shopsmith. So I would not spend too much more time looking, unless...........

I'm sure it was not part of the origional 510 package. I had to order mine later - in fact years later.

If three of us say it was not in the standard set of parts for the MK 5 does that make it so??

If so then we can officially say no it was not part of the package and you had to order it special.

That's my story and I'm sticking to it.

Well, I've given up looking, so I ordered one. I've moved this machine to four different homes since I've had it, so I was hoping it was just misplaced in one of my boxes somewhere, but no such luck I guess!!

I wish three of you guys said it WAS in the kit and "made it so" :)
