Shopnotes Lumber Cart

Post by eldyfig »

Just finished this cart for all my cut-offs. I made it 6', instead of 8', to conserve some space. I am deeply satisfied. No more long stock stored in the trusses overhead.

Nice work, Tony!! It sure has solved one of your storage problems. Very nice! The 6' length was an excellent idea! In Fact - I might just do something similar. Yours looks soooo good! :D

However - The pessimist in me says if I had one of those, it would soon get filled up just like my other storage structures.

Thanks for the compliments. It's a ShopNotes plan. It gave me a chance to get some practice using a taper jig to cut the dividers on the side and a chance to cut a bunch of 5 degree bevels on the sides of each shelf and the bottom of the sheets used to construct the tower.

That is one sweet lumber cart.
I like the before & after photos w & w/o lumber, that shows the usefulness quite well.

Very nice! Handy for moving around and keeping things neat and at hand... If I had something like that I would be temped to steal a piece of plywood off it to complete a project.

Been known to do that from time to time "Don't get any thing made out of wood near me, I may just rob something off it..
