Ron,
The parts I retained are for the 510 / 520. I had converted one of the prior purchased 500's to a shorty. Then I had purchased the 510 sanding disk, lower guard as a dust collector, and the 510 lathe arm came with a tool rest I wanted. I plan to purchase 5/8" arbors, since all of my 10" blades have 5/8" holes.

I consider the speed reducer to be a high priority item. The SS lowest speed of 700 rpm is quite high. The speed reducer lowers that to 100 rpm. All this assumes a properly operating speed reducer.
