Goodbye Mark V 510
Looking at the online catalog this morning I noticed something strange about the Purchase Your Shopsmith page. See link below. The Mark V 510 is not there. I remember it was listed the last time I saw that page. Has it gone away like the Mark V 500 and 505? My guess is Mark V purchasers are going for the Pro Fence so no need for the 510. A new entry for the Shopsmith history page.

Interestingly, the text of the description for the 520 still contains a reference to the 510.

Re: Goodbye Mark V 510
What is ironic is that the 510 had more reviews and a better review rating than the 520 in the July website.

The link I posted was to one of the web archives of the Shopsmith website. The archive was taken in July 2019. Below is what was on the website at the link Russ posted in July. I posted the web archive of this link just to make it easier to compare to what was there before showing the 510 for sale...JPG wrote:???dms8667 wrote:What is ironic is that the 510 had more reviews and a better review rating than the 520 in the July website.

Re: Goodbye Mark V 510
I noticed the last advertisement I saw (maybe a week ago) listed the 510, but it showed a picture of the 520.
Pure speculation on my part: Perhaps they aren't ordering any more 510-specific parts, but they're selling the 510 until they use up their supply of those parts.
