The latest, this is that I got today:
... Well they are closing him up but the surgeon was just in and he got biopsy the right lung is full of cancer so basically with the biopsy they will find out lung cancer or mesothelioma. .. but it is end stage .we will be talking to the cancer dr. Later today so like he said not good out come...

They have been saying with chemo he could see between 18 and 36 months. The new estimate is 6 months....
This stuff can really happen fast. Not sure why it took so long for it to be found, perhaps he was being a tough guy and not seeking medical help. He has regular visits but for other things.
They are blaming smoking and woodworking but he hasn't smoked in years and has pretty much stopped woodworking some years back. I have to wonder how good it was for him when he was working in the paper mill, I know I lasted just 4 days and had to get out.... My only factory work.
Anyway he had hopes of coming home from the hospital today but is experiencing some confusion and disorientation, thus concern that the cancer may have spread to his brain. No results from that yet.
So please feel free to keep him in your prayers.

Sending my prayers for all involved, Frank and family. My wife in treatment now, scary stuff but she caught it early, thank God.

He got home today. They are also concerned that he isn't eating.... lost 30 pounds. I guess they have a pill for that, see how that works out. No news on the MRI so maybe that will come next week.
