Sorry, don't have an extra. I don't recall having seen one come up on ebay, but you might set up a search alert so you don't have to check every day. You may have better luck contacting someone selling planer parts and see if they have one. If you want to try to make one, attached is a drawing I made of of mine with dimensions. The material is about 1/8" thick steel. If you have something else you need to order, that may lessen the sting of the shipping cost. IIRC, only rarely does Shopsmith offer free shipping, and it is usually just before Christmas, and sometimes around Father's Day.

Re: Shopsmith Planer tool needed
I recommend just ordering one from Shopsmith. That is what I did. I bought a used planer and the gauge was missing. I simply ordered one from Shopsmith. The shipping was insignificant. Once I had it, I pulled the knives, sent them out to be sharpened, and put them back in. The gauge was worth every penny it cost in purchase price and shipping.

Like garys, I recommend ordering one from Shopsmith. They rarely come up for sale used but if they do there isn't much of a savings and sometimes eBay sales end up costing more. Plus you will have to wait for one to come up for sale. My Planer which I bought used didn't come one either so I ordered one. It is a must have for setting the blades. Did yours come with a manual? If not consider ordering that to. It guides you through the setup, use and maintenance of your Planer including how to properly set the knives.
Check around your Shopsmith tools to see if there is anything else you need/want. If you haven't signed up for Shopsmith email specials do so. There is a current sale that came in an email good through the 1st of January for dollars off certain amounts spent. $10 off $75 dollars spent, $20 off $125 and more. Maybe a second set of knives. Maybe the Planer Knife Sharpener and Conical Disk Sander so you can keep you Planer (and Jointer if you have one) knives sharp. I really like being able to remove my Planer knives, sharpen them and reinstall to be ready to work again without having to wait to have them sharpened.
