510 Switch
I need to replace the DPST rocker switch (20a 1.5-2.0 hp). Anyone know where I can order one online. Ace Hdwe doesn't have them.

Re: 510 Switch
I've seen them on ebay and it remains an active part from the mothership. Some have a safety key, some do not, so it is important to decide if you want that, want to avoid it, or don't care. Jacob Anderson, IIRC, has a short video on why he feels his is better than original.
I personally would not use one that was not explicitly Motor Rated. (Motor Rated means it is designed to handle the much higher amperage of a motor at startup.) Even if it says it is for power tools.

Thanks for your help. I decided to go with a rocker switch that was 2 HP rated and found this one on zoro.com - Zoro #: G1773983.

Re: 510 Switch
I'm not sure of this one. The description says it is "Momentary On/Off," but one of the reviewers said he used it in a RAS and he was happy with it. A Momentary switch would not work for a Shopsmith (also not for at least most RAS's).JPG wrote:"2LNF6"WOULD HAVE WORKED $3.49 IF AVAILABLE G0750766
The 2LNE9 that the OP selected is available on Ebay for $10 + $4 Shipping.

Re: 510 Switch
I had two tabs open for different switches and, (blame it on age) I clicked on the wrong one. When I got the switch I realized what I had done and contacted Zoro.com. This is the reply I received:db5 wrote:Thanks for your help. I decided to go with a rocker switch that was 2 HP rated and found this one on zoro.com - Zoro #: G1773983.
