Unable to get bandsaw to track properly

It'd be great to document this with a photo or two...its not obvious to me trying to imagine it.

My wheels are properly aligned using a straight edge and the back of my saw blade touches the auto-track roller bearing (as directed) BUT....

1. The saw blade aligns to the middle of each wheel
2. The saw blade does NOT touch the back of the "lower blade Guide Roller bearing (as directed) the back of the blade sits about 1/8 in front of the guide roller. Since the front / back of the roller is not adjustable, I am not sure what to do next.

The tires are in great shape.

I am betting you have a misconception of what is 'proper'.

The SS bandsaw is different from ALL other bandsaws.

The wheels should NOT be 'co-planer'.

A straight edge laying across the upper wheel from top to bottom should CLEAR the top of the lower wheel by about 1/4".

The upper wheel MUST be canted(top leaning back towards the frame).

The arm on which the upper wheel shaft located is likely bent.

Pushing in while pulling out on the top and bottom respectively will apply torque to reorient the shaft. Key word here is torque.

A better method is to remove the upper wheel and apply torque directly to the shaft.

When all is well, the blade should track about 1/4" from the rear edge of both the upper and the lower wheel.
