Used Parts? Resales?

Hey ya'll.

Just joined recently and am in spong-mode, water-boarding myself with all this SS Knowledge and the intricacies that go with it (and the variable variations, LOL).

was wondering if there was anywhere (other than ebay) to purchase used, repurposed parts and accessories? I havent noticed anything on this site.

This forum site is not for selling items but rather a place where members with question can find answers and help or share some information. It is a value to us to have this forum hosted by Shopsmith/RLF Brands, LLC but remember they are in the business of selling new tools, accessories and replacement parts. They are quite liberal in what they allow to be posted on their forum as far as talking about the "used market." They, like us, know that some parts have to be found used to keep our older Shopsmith's running. This is especially true with the Model 10's. Other than common hardware like set screws there are only two parts still made by Shopsmith that are currently used in the Mark V 520 and Mark 7 that are the same going back to the Model 10E.

There are other sale sites like craigslist but I find most of these other sites have complete machines for sale on them and not often just parts. I really only look at craigslist and eBay for old Shopsmith items. Others may have different favorites to share.
