Anyone own the Wagner Furno 700/750?

Post by reible »

Looking to up date my old two temp unit with something with more and nicer controls and this one is looking pretty good on paper but just wondered if anyone here owned one and what they thought about it?

I now know someone who owns one, me.

This is not a review but lets call it a preview. As I mentioned I have an old two heat version that has to be what 30 years old or more?? It still works but you don't have much control over it. You pick either hi or low and you get what you get. I've enjoyed having it and have found a lot of uses. Maybe not 101 but a lot none the less.

I was looking for a gun with a bit more control and this one seems to fit the bill. I have not intent on using this for any really large extended jobs so a home DIY type seems fine.

You can get this in two forms, basic and in a case. I opted for the case version and we will talk a bit more about that later.

In this last picture you can see the reason I wanted the case. Yes the gun can stand on it own but I have had them tip over due to the cord getting bumped or had trouble finding a nice flat space to set it if working outside on the driveway or in the yard. Having the case as a holder is great in my opinion.

And when you power off it runs the fan for I think about a minute. Not enough to really be cool but it helps.

I looked at Amazon and found the basic unit here:

The one with the case here:

https://www.amazon.com/Wagner-Furno-750 ... 87&sr=8-23

But I found a better deal at Home Depot. I don't love to shop there where they force you to do self checkout but for the savings I did it. $59 for the one with the case.

If I find the time I might do a review at some point but can't promise.

That looks like a nice one. I bought one with multiple temp/fan settings at Harbor Freight. But yours looks better -- I like the attachments and case, which might be useful. Mine works fine for the occasional things I need to use it for.
