Bandsaw upper bearing lubrication

I'm going through maintenance on my bandsaw. The manual says to lubricate the upper wheel bearing with 'cup grease' or 'furnace bearing grease'. Cup grease doesn't appear to be a thing anymore, and in any case, I don't need a big container for one bearing. I have an old tube of Lubriplate that I used to use on Teletype machines, and wonder if that would be an acceptable substitute. I remember it was considered to be very good. (There are a number of Lubriplate different greases now, but my tube has no part number, so was was apparently their only product at the time.) What would you use?

Plain old wheel bearing grease should be fine if it really needs to be greased. There is nothing special about that bearing. If the manual says cup grease you have an old manual (50+ years ?). Lots has changed with lubes in that time.
