Admin there is a problem

Post by chapmanruss »

Why since yesterday does the Subscribe to our mailing list pop up screen keep coming up here on the forum? It is very annoying trying to view and post on the forum with the pop up constantly coming up.

I tried submitting the form in hopes of it stopping. It did not stop it. You may disregard the multiple submissions today as I am already on the e-mailing list.

It's been a while ago, well over a year, when that started to happen to everybody every time you changed pages. We all complained and I guess admin did something because it stopped completely for a long time. Since that time I have gotten that pop up occasionally on random page changes. It will show up randomly for a day or two and then go away. The last time it happened here was 4 or 5 months ago. It is not happening here now. FWIW

It happens here on rare occasion but I don't believe it happens while I am posting (any time after I have logged in).

John and Dusty,

I remember it happening before. My reason for posting was so hopefully the Administrator would see it and maybe be able to fix it.

By the way it popped up today as I went to write this post.

Again as I went to review what I wrote in this post above. I'm sure it will pop up again as I review this again.

It also pops up when I submit the post.

I get that window on the SS main page, but not on the forum. I do have the forum open on a tab most of the time, and have "Remember Me" ticked.

Have you tried "Delete all board cookies", sometimes a cookie gets corrupted.
