The pulleys used will determine the final speed. Planers need faster speeds.(5-6k)

Okay. About the pulleys, I saw that the Pro Planer... meaning the Planer with its own stand used a 5 inch on the motor and 3 inch on the planer. Will this work well and give the power needed to the planer for good performance using a 1.5 or 1.75 Hp motor 3450rpm?

1.5 hp MAY be a bit underpowered for heavier cuts.

Okay.. about the motor hp. Is that pulley config good , 3in on the planer and 5in on the motor or can I get better performance from a different pulley setup?

@ motor = 3450 spindle = 5750

I would just go with what the MS uses(5,3).
