When was 2 bearing quill introduced?

I know this info is somewhere on the site but it's eluding me at the moment. Looking at headstock #159532 as a spare and/or for parts.

I believe it was about late 1983 or very early 1984. As I remember it was immediately after I got mine which was in mid 1983.

Just got off the website and found a date of 11/01/1984 for the introduction.

Ok, this one was made a year earlier than that. I think I'll pass, it's no fantastic price. It could even have the upgrade but the seller won't know, he bought a machine at auction and this is the last part he has left.
