just received a Shopsmith serial # ER26725

Post by bpk02766 »

I just received a Shopsmith serial # ER26725
I've dismantled it so it would fit in the back of my mid-size SUV.
I have two bins of various parts and haven't inventoried everything yet.
I've looked around a bit in the forums and I'm looking forward to restoring it.

I'll take photos.

Brian,

Welcome to the Shopsmith Forum. I look forward to seeing pictures of your Shopsmith Model 10ER. Since I live on the west coast I do not get to see Model 10's made in the eastern plant as often so I look forward to the comparisons and which versions of parts yours has.

If you have a manual for it great, if not there are PDF's available at the first link in Ron's resource list. The manuals available there are not the exact one for your 10ER but the operation will be the same in the 10ER manual. That 10ER Manual is a later one so some of the parts on your 10ER will be earlier versions.

Keep this thread going as you progress with your restoration. Add pictures and ask questions as they come up. We are happy to help.
