Also note the benefits of Gale's Law.
Gale's Law: The bigger the woodworking project, the less the mistakes show in any photo taken far enough away to show the entire project!

Very good day today. I was able to get over to the machine shop and cleanup the way tubes that I have. The one set looks really great, the set that was on my father's machine not so much. From a distance they look OK but there is extensive pitting in both tubes. I expected some but what can I say it was in Three ( 3 ) fires in the past 70 some years. I just set them in place and got wax onto them. Tomorrow I will do final assembly. Yippy!!!!!!!!!!!! The pics are before and after. More pics after it is all assembled. Later Guys.

OK Guys and Gals, my Shopsmith is now completed except for a few little things I want to clean up and paint. Enjoy the pictures. I also posted a before picture. Thanks for all your help and knowledge in helping me get this far. Merry Christmas Everyone.

I'm sorry but when I was building it in 2018 I couldn't go any larger due to $$$$$ constraints. LMAO. I know what you mean. LOL

Wonderful job on the restoration of your father's Model 10ER. It's amazing what these tools can go through and still come out looking great. Enjoy your "new" Shopsmith.

Model 10ER S/N R64000 first one I restored on bench w/ metal ends & retractable casters.
Has Speed Changer, 4E Jointer, Jig Saw with lamp, a complete set of original accessories & much more.
Model 10E's S/N's 1076 & 1077 oldest ones I have restored. Mark 2 S/N 85959 restored. Others to be restored.
