Wood turning web site.

Post by cincinnati »

Found this site on the web. Ton of info on using the wood lathe, making tools etc... What I like is he shows how to turn without all the fancy expensive stuff.

Thanks!

I would also like to plug a great 4-issues-annually Turning magazine, "Woodturning Design." http://www.woodturningdesign.com/
They have a very nice mix of project skill levels, and many tips on making specialized chucks and tools. I've bought these magazines in the store and also have ordered back-issues.

Cool site and magazine! Does anyone have a god reference on how to use each tool effectively? I am taking it really slow, and I really dont think I am using my chisels to their maximum, because I am not sure how they are/were intended to be used.
