Includes the tallest ever aux Jointer fence. But what is this, circled in red? Part of the Model 10, or no?

Not a Model 10 part. It looks like some kind of home made adapter to clamp to the way tubes.

It looks like it might be a shop-made steady rest as shown in the older versions of PTWFE. If so, then the bearings that the spindle turning pushes against are on the end of the part that is farthest from the camera.

Ontario is a city north of San Diego and midway between L.A. and Riverside. It has one of the major airports that people sometimes use to avoid using LAX, the huge L.A. airport.

Being still a novice on these things I couldn’t tell for sure if it was a 10E but because of the wing nuts on the end stock I thought it might be. The depth adjusting knob on the jointer looks to be from a newer model 620 than mine. I wonder what they would have been jointing with such a wide fence?

Edge jointing wide boards. ;)
The rip fence tells the 10E tale also.

Noticed the pulleys are not installed correct for the speed changer.

Wonder how the bandsaw is connected to the drive shaft???

It looks like it has the special pulley that accepts a drive coupler.

However, the shafts don't line up because, I believe, the bandsaw is supposed to be used with SPT Adapter "B", not Adapter "A" as shown in the photo (and mounted backwards). Which makes me wonder if Adapter "B" is lurking nearby. I've been watching CL for those adapters for years. One of them once showed up locally, but disappeared before I could get to it.

My 'comment' was alluding to the distance (vertical) between the drive hub and the bandsaw hub.

I wondered about which adapter was necessary.

Leave A adapter backwards, flip 180 degrees and lower bandsaw in A adapter. Problem solved.
