Delta Homecraft 37-110

Post by jmoore65 »

Has anyone used a Delta Homecraft 37-110 jointer on a Mark V?

If so - how was it mounted on the Mark V base?

Thanks!

Why do that?

Jim, I have not done that nor seen that but my brother did find a motor and build a stand for his 37-110. I will bet that a Shop Smith jointer stand can be adapted fairly easily if you have the Home Craft base.

If you insist on mating the Home Craft to the Shop Smith I would suggest an adapter plate made of 3/8 or 1/2 inch steel. Drill and counter sink holes for the Shop Smith stand and drill and tap holes for the Home Craft. You will need to torch out the interior of the plate and find the appropriate drive belt should there not be adequate play.
