100Watt 14,000 Lumen HYPERLITE high bay lights: LED Shop Lighting that even Manfred Mann would Love!

Post by Chad »

My Growth Rings with Scott Markwood

✅ SHOP NOTES: After a BUNCH of research I decided to install several "High Bay" LED lights in my new shop space instead of going with my original plan of using traditional linear lighting. I'm fortunate that I have 12' tall ceilings, so that gives the light cone plenty of space to get its elbows out and spread around the space. I misspoke when I said they were 18,000 Lumens though. These are 14,000.

I just realized that I messed up the edit of the video and failed to include the names of the "Chairman of the Board", who are channel members at the top tier and are folks that I look to for feedback and guidance on the channel. Since I missed them in the end scroll I want to recognize them here:
Albert Treado, Chad Nevels, Kirk Schweighofer, Gathering Splinters, Rick Parker, Tigger-56, Anne McDonley, niel jorgensen, Clyde Renner, bwstrong1, Everett Davis, John Rice, Barringer Training, David Carpenter, drumaganger, Steve Larson, and Lance Farmer. You guys and gals ROCK!

I picked up one of these to light up my sand blast cabinet:https://www.amazon.com/GLORIOUS-LITE-Wa ... r=8-7&th=1

It's equivalent to a 400 watt halogen bulb, and that's too bright for a lot of uses. Look right at it for a fraction of a second and you'll be seeing dots for a while. If you have high enough ceilings or can disperse the light somehow it would be good choice. The price is right and I'm impressed with the 16 foot long cord it comes with.

I tried this one and love it. It is 12,000 lumen, but sells for a fraction of the price other lights with similar lumens sell for.
