Watching an old episode of The Woodwright's Shop (s27e10) and Roy is touring Old Salem in North Carolina. He's speaking with an Old Salem craftsman who is showing Roy his 18C (or early 19C) springpole lathe with sash saw and boring attachments!

I love the Woodwright's Shop. I'd never make things that way but it's very cool to see.
