Sawsmith 2000 Base Flex

I just picked up a used Ultra Sawsmith 2000 and assembled it. I notice that the base is VERY flexible...the whole thing wobbles and is very flimsy.

Any ideas on how to beef it up? Has anyone bolted the base legs to a heavy duty mobile base to improve that issue?

Would it e better to get one of those massive Delta extension bases and use a more permanent/fixed leg system vs the telescoping legs?

I want to actually use this saw so looking for some good suggestions.

Your finding some of the reasons I never bought the saw. If it were me I would look in Woodsmith/Shopnotes and Wood magazine for a mobile table saw carts/benches. Basically they build a mobile cart/table to hold the saw. Most have extensions to increase the left or right table length and some incorporate outfeed and/or infeed tables. They are built to have drawers and cabinet storage for fences, mitre gauges, blades and dados and etc.

I have seen some models that even include a shopvac for dust collection. Usually they are constructed for Delta Contractor saws but all that would be needed is some minor dimension changes to accomodate your saw.
