Rigid Table Saw

Post by rkh2 »

This is a heads up for anyone who may be thinking of purchasing a table saw to supplement their SS and not to take any sales away from SS. I work at a Home Depot store in TN and noticed that the RIGID 10" table saw is on clearance for a pretty good savings. normally it sells for $549.00 but right now it can be purchased for $399.00. I was told that RIGID is coming out with a granite top for the saw which will replace this one. I am attaching a link to the saw which describes it better. There are 8 Home Depot stores in the district I work in and only 12 saws left, so they are selling fast. Again, I am not trying to sell this saw, but just passing on this savings for someone who may have room for an additional saw besides the SS.

They are selling them fast????? Can you see sales history? If you can look at how many are sold in the last 6 months. I will wager the number is a lot less than one a month per store. So I would guess 12 would be normal inventory.

I tracked one in a our local HD and it sat there almost 4 months untouched.

I expect the price of the 3650 to go even lower. By the way the new machine is a hybred saw with the motor inside the cabinet instead of hanging off the back. It has a granite table (good for rust but bad for so many the new magnetic accessories that are hitting the market recently) I expect that saw to have a fantastic intro price.
