I sent an e-mail to the Wooden Post dot com and they informed me they were once again able to sell the Shopsmith model. So I guess Shopsmith dropped it.

Hi,

I too got a message from woodenpost saying:
"We can now sell the Ringmaster for the ShopSmith."
However as of this morning there was no link to do so.

I had also contacted PORTA-NAILS, INC:
"Thank you for your email and bringing the shopping cart functionality issue to our attention. Our Web Master has been made aware of this issue and will be working to correct. We will advise once the fix has been made. In the interim, if you would like to place your order the old fashion way you can call our customer service department at 800-634-9281 and we will be happy to process your order."

It should soon be ready at the above sites.

Before these became a exclusive shopsmith item they could be purchased at:
http://www.woodenpost.com/

I had written them due to the fact the ringmaster doesn't seem to be a shopsmith order able item anymore. This is the response:
"I have not been made aware ShopSmith stopped handling it."

I then replied asking if they were checking into it... so still no clear answer if they will again be selling them in the future.

Thanks for the great info everyone! I just bought a Ring Master on eBay and needed a User Manual. I plan on cutting some rings very soon. I'm lucky and live across the street from a cabinet shop who gives me lots of cut-offs of maple, oak and various other hardwoods that are perfect for this tool. I'll let you know how it goes.
