Biscuit Cutter Replacement Blade / Instructions
I don't see a replacement blade for the Shopsmith Biscuit Cutter available from Shopsmith. Will any standard biscuit cutter blade fit? Anyone have a favorite replacement blade? And, could also use any instructions or Owner's Manual, if someone can provide one. I have a chance to buy one while on a road trip this weekend, and would like to learn more about it before I see it in person.

Re: Biscuit Cutter Replacement Blade / Instructions
Before you buy a used one do know that the Shopsmith Biscuit Joiner, item number 555320 is currently half off at $79.83 through the 29th. As for a replacement blade it is part number 515461 4" Saw Blade and sells for $49.96. I don't know if other brands of blades will fit.
The Biscuit Joiner Owner's Manual is item number 845226 and is available from Shopsmith for $4.95.
For less than $30.00 more than the 4" saw blade you can have a new Biscuit Jointer with a new blade which will also have the manual.
There have been two versions of the Biscuit Jointer that I know of. The early one is shown below.
_ .
The current version is shown below.
_ .
The only real difference between the two is the tabs on the sides added to the current version. The arbor for the Biscuit Jointer is specific to that tool. That Arbor is shown below.
