Shopsmith ...Canadian users have a problem.

Post by camerio »

I in Quebec City and a friend of mine in Mississauga Ontario have been trying to reach our Canadian Shopsmith distributor in Oakville, Ontario not far from Mississauga for instance and this without any success for many weeks for ordering parts from Shopsmith.
I reported to Shopsmith our problem. The store in Oakville of All IN ONE Tools has been closed and there is only a website which does not answer our inquiries neither by phone or email.
I wanted to buy scales for my adjusting collars that I bought sometime ago but never got the scales to go with it. I believe that those scale could be pack in an envelop and send to me easily by USPS mail without much hassle. Shopsmith answer to me that because of duty and cost of shipping they do not sell in Canada. And they still refer me to All In One tools which I told them that was not working.
Otherwise they suggested if I could give them an address in the states they could send me my request.
I wanted to bring this to the attention of all users, Canadians are not able to buy except a few things on Amazon.ca and Ebay.
I hope the new owner tries to do something, they are loosing users in Canada.

allin1wood.com is the right web address.

All-In-One Woodtools as suggested on the Shopsmith website does not work.

A quick google search suggests you can send a first class 1 oz letter from a friend in the US to Quebec City for $1.55. Or just print JPG's jpg file at the appropriate scale.
